In the quiet backwaters of the north-central Waukesha county, you'll find Lake Keesus. The public access has only been open since 1999 and not everyone knows of its availability, making this lake a diamond in the rough for those more inclined to an easy-going lifestyle. Long, peaceful bays stretch out to the south from the main body of the lake, lending themselves to perfectly peaceful mornings or afternoons.
